Although it is a bit out in the middle of nowhere, it is well worth the hour and a half drive from Denver. According to the park’s website, it has been ranked by Reserve America as one of the “Top 15 Park Beaches.” Ideal for the little ones, the swim beach has clear shallow water, soft sand and plenty of room to play.
